Discover the Art of Face Painting
NEW brushes are always welcome in the hands of a face painter, but if the quality is lacking then they’ll quickly end up as seconds in your kit. Yes, peeling handles, incorrect bristles and loose hairs are all big pains when it comes to face painting. And sadly a waste of money that could have been better spent elsewhere.
Naturally it’s the good quality brushes that become the go-to brushes whenever you need them. And whether you’re a brush junkie or just starting out with only the basics, you can never have too many of the latter variety, which is why I’m happy to be giving away a set of 3 brand new Loew-Cornell® brushes!
These are favourites in my kit, and Olga Meleca‘s as well, helping to create perfect tear drops, fine lines and grrreat tiger markings too. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong before I invested in quality brushes. My line work improved overnight, by leaps and bounds. In my opinion, if you take care of them, you won’t find a better brush for durability and line-work. I just love my Loew-Cornell’s.
The ‘comfort’ 3000 series has hourglass contour handles, helping to relieve stress and produce a better result. The brush is made of blended soft Taklon — perfect for face paint — and have spring and durability, set in a seamless nickel ferrule.
All you need to do to WIN your own set of three brand new Loew-Cornell® comfort grip 3000 series #2, #4 and #6 rounds valued at $30.97 AUD is subscribe to the Face Paint School newsletter (see below). The winner will be selected by random draw from new subscribers in the month of April 2013.
